How to install Wordpress on 000Webhost
000Webhost is the best free hosting service which offers free domain name and a lot of other features including the installation of powerful scripts e.g Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla etc. Installing Wordpress on 000webhost is not that difficult and can be done within 10 minutes. I will guide you step by step procedure of installing it.
Step 1: Download latest version of Wordpress from www.wordpress.org and open the zip folder of Wordpress that you have downloaded. Now find the file “wp-config-sample.php” and rename it to “wp-config.php”.
Step 2: Login to your 000webhost account and go to Cpanel. Now click on MySql and create a new data base there. Use “wp” for host and “admin” for username and type the password you want. Now click proceed and note down all the data that appears in a box including host name, user name etc.
Step 3: Open the file “wp-config.php” from the wordpress zipped folder with notepad and edit it. Find the following texts and replace them with the data you write down in step2 from your MySql data base.

How to solve File too big error in installing Wordpress on 000webhost?
With the latest version of Wordpress2.92, everyone can face the error of “File too big” due to its large size. However the zipped file is only 2.4mb and the maximum file size lowed in 000webhost is 5mb then why this error? Because that’s the zipped folder.. The files inside the folders are more than 5mb.
I also faced this problem and did not find any solution from net. I solved this by doing some foolish tricks.. here we go;
Download Wordpress software from www.wordpress.org. That will be in a zipped folder. Unzip all the files to another folder. In unzip files, there will be three folders and many files after unzipping. Now zip the three folders individually in three separate folders and zip the remaining files an fourth folder. That’s it. Now upload each zipped folder one by one and you are done with your installing of Wordpress without getting any error of File Too Big. Leave the comments if you find any difficulty.

It is necessary to verify your blogs in order to use Webmasters tools and for submitting sitemaps to Google. You can verify your site in easy steps. Here we go..
For Blogger blogs
When you do enter your site in Webmasters tools, it gives you three options to verify your site. By meta tag, by html file and by DNS record. Select verification by meta tag and copy the meta tag text. Now open your Blogger layout and select edit html tab. Now press Ctrl+f. There will appear a box, type in the box and press enter. Now paste the copied meta code before that highlighted . Thats it. Now click on verify site link in your Webmasters tools and your blog i verified.
For Wordpress self hosted blog
Do the same as mentioned above upto copying meta code. Now open your Wordpress admin panel and click on plugins and select add new. Now type “All in one Seo pack” in plugin search box. Install the plugin and activate it. Now click on settings tab in admin panel and open the settings of All in one Seo pack and paste the copied meta code in the box named as “Additional page headers” at the bottom and save the changes. Thats it. Now click on verify site in Webmasters tools and your blog is verified. After verifying the blog you may delete this plugin if you dont want to keep it.
