Affiliate marketing is an approach of promoting the goods or products by a third party. That 3rd party is known as ‘publisher’. Publishers promote and market the products of manufacturers by publishing the ads of the products on their websites, blogs, e-mails or by ‘Pay Per Click’ programs. If someone buys the products or goods then the publisher gets the agreed commission.
Advantage of Affiliate marketing
Earning by affiliate marketing has an edge over other modes of earning online as it pays much more than other methods of earning. Many people are earning several thousand dollars per month by doing successful affiliate marketing. By joining some PPC(Pay per click) program you can only earn in pennies but by affiliate marketing you can earn several dollars with selling a single product.
Types of affiliate marketing
You can do affiliate marketing by two types of products.
1. ‘E’ products or Virtual products: It includes ebooks, mp3, ring tones, downloads, movie downloads etc.
2. Physical or real products: Like LCD TV, Camera or any product, Mobile Phones or any other physical product which is sent via shipment to physical address.
